Polish Association of Puerto Rico at the 60 Million Congress in Gdansk, Poland

Leaders of the Polish Association of Puerto Rico spoke about opportunities for Polish and Puerto Rican companies that can arise form mutual relationship between the two countries.

“Developing Business Relations through Polish Association of Puerto Rico” was the main topic of the panel that took place at the 12th International “60 Million Congress” in Gdańsk Poland.

Polish Association of Puerto Rico discussed economic opportunities that are offered by the island and presented the benefits of working with Puerto Rico. Some of the items that were discussed were, tax incentives, investment and trade opportunities, ease of doing business and the great entrepreneurial climate that exists in this rapidly growing Caribbean island. Members of the delegation also stressed the importance of Puerto Rico as a “Gateway to America” and the fact that it is the only island in the Caribbean that is part of the commonwealth of the United States and has the U.S. dollar as the currency which provides additional opportunities for companies looking to expand to the mainland and other U.S. states.

The Polish side was represented by the President of the Polish Trade and Investment Section – Krzysztof Drynda. The President of the most important economic agency in Poland discussed opportunities for Puerto Rican companies that are looking to invest in Poland and the European Union. He also explored avenues of conducting common trade and establishing closer business relations between the two countries.

The Polish Association of Puerto Rico was represented by Lukas Maniac, Zbigniew Nowak, Jose Nadal Powers, Jose Soto and Oskar Kowalski.  The delegation invited the Polish business and political leaders to take part in the trade mission to Puerto Rico that is scheduled for February 2023.
